Endoscopy

Endoscopy involves the use of flexible or rigid fiber-optic cameras to visualize internal structures without the need for invasive surgery.  No surgical incisions are required.  It is a vital tool for both diagnosis and non-surgical intervention.

Key Services Include:

  • Gastrointestinal Endoscopy: Visualizing the esophagus, stomach, and upper intestinal tract as a diagnostic imaging tool.

  • Foreign Body Retrieval: removal of swallowed objects from the stomach or esophagus without the need for surgery.

  • Diagnostic Biopsies: Minimally invasive tissue sampling of the gastrointestinal tract to diagnose chronic inflammation or disease.
